CEMS-Global USA’s Yarn & Fabric Series of Exhibitions have reached its accession by being the ONLY and most successful series of its kind being held in 4 countries – Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco & Sri Lanka. Since launched in 2010 in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan edition of the `Colombo Yarn & Fabric Show’ have been serving the Textile & Apparel Industry of Sri Lanka and are the biggest and successful Exhibitions of their kind in Sri Lanka for past 9 years and have seen great appreciation from the entire Textile & Apparel Industry of the country and also a 40% rise in the number of exhibitors every year. A major milestone was recently crossed, the 10th Anniversary of Sri Lanka in 2019. The celebration was held alongside the exhibition, which was successfully held on 8th March 2019.

With the great success of CIFS in Sri Lanka with Exhibitors obtaining maximum results, CEMS-Global USA once again presents the 13th Colombo International Yarn & Fabric Show 2021—Summer Edition, the leading and Only International Exhibition in Sri Lanka on International Yarn & Fabric Manufacturers / Suppliers for the entire Apparel & Textile world of Sri Lanka, expected to once again draw huge visitors from the expanding Apparel & Textile arena of Sri Lanka. According to these latest data, the total Sri Lankan apparel exports for 2018 were US $ 5.1 billion approximately (an increase of 3.06% from 2016’s $4.67 billion approximately). This is the highest annual export revenue to be recorded for Lankan apparels. Is firmly closing the lead in exports of apparels and garments over its competitor countries like India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. As per the World Bank, Sri Lanka recorded the strongest economic growth among the South Asian Nations hitting 7.2%.

The `13th CIFS 2021’, timed at the right moment with Sri Lanka further investing in setting up new Apparel factories and expanding their present capacities to match the fast-growing exports, will cater to the requirements of the ever-growing Apparel Industry of Sri Lanka showcasing Cotton & Synthetic fabrics (Woven / Knit), Natural Fabrics (Woven / Knit), Yarn & Fiber, Fancy Finishing, Home Textiles, Accessories, CAD/ CAM & E-business.
